Almost Done

The news is that Particle Bunni’s first album, Organic Forms & Sonic Shapes Vol. 1, is close to submission to our distributor. Final mixing is basically done, and just a few tweaks on a couple of tracks need to be completed before export.
The realization that we made an album hasn’t really sunk in yet. There’s still so much more to do—videos, marketing, and administrative tasks—that it’s hard to take a moment to reflect. I’m super proud of what we’ve created, yet I’m ready to move on to the next project.
It’s been so long since I created a piece of art that I’d forgotten how its creation demands every fiber of your being. And when you finally say it’s done, you’re emotionally done too. I’m ready to let go of the creation and move to the next piece of art.
The next thing, as the title of Vol. 1 suggests, is Organic Forms & Sonic Shapes Vol. 2. In the last couple of days, I’ve been trying to transition some of my brain space to what Volume 2 will be. Whereas Volume 1 was all about the journey to the fourth track called Beloved, I’d like Volume 2 to be more about discovering what happens after the chaos—what you do once you see all the pieces of destruction lying on the floor.
What happens when the frantic, discordant feelings must be dealt with?
